Terms & Conditions Overview

Unsatisfactory Staff Policy If any staff member provided by OSS Employment Agency Inc. proves to be unsatisfactory, the client must notify OSS Employment Agency Inc. within four (4) hours. A replacement will be arranged as soon as possible, and no charges will apply for the unsatisfactory staff during this period.

Booking Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in time to prevent staff from attending. Otherwise, a minimum charge equivalent to four (4) hours will apply.

Staff Substitution

OSS Employment Agency Inc. reserves the right to substitute one staff member for another, should the need arise.

Time Sheets

Staff members will provide a time sheet for signature at the end of each week or the assignment, whichever occurs first. The time sheet must be completed and signed by the client or an authorized supervisor. It is the responsibility of our staff to return the time sheet to OSS Employment Agency Inc., as their weekly pay is calculated based on it. Client charges are calculated based on the time sheet, and invoices are forwarded accordingly.

Invoicing and Payments

Invoices are issued weekly. All accounts must be settled strictly within 30 days upon receipt. A late payment charge of 4% per month will apply to outstanding invoices beyond the 30-day grace period.

Permanent Placement Fee

If a client hires a staff member or former staff member as their own employee, either permanently or for a limited period, during or within three (3) months following the termination of the temporary engagement, OSS Employment Agency Inc. must be notified immediately. A permanent placement fee will apply in such cases.

Payroll and Compliance

OSS Employment Agency Inc. covers all salaries, income tax deductions, holiday pay, payroll taxes, and workers' compensation for staff. T-4 slips are provided to OSS Employment Agency Inc. employees at the end of the calendar year.

Overtime and Regular Hours

All work outside regular hours will be paid at the applicable overtime rate for the province. Regular hours, excluding meal breaks, shall not exceed the standard work week as defined by provincial legislation.

Minimum Assignment Period

A minimum assignment period of four (4) hours per person, per day, applies.

Agreement Changes

OSS Employment Agency Inc. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions with adequate notice to clients.
